Despina met us at check in and was so kind and welcoming. She showed us how everything works and gave us a walkthrough of her beautiful property. We especially enjoyed spending the evening in the jacuzzi and the amazing views from the backyard. The home is perfectly clean and the area safe. We had zero problems getting everywhere we wanted to go from this property, and all of the restaurant recommendations provided by Despina are especially helpful. We were exhausted from our day of travel and loved the delivery recommendation provided! We’d love to come back and visit Crete again and any of Despina’s properties will be where we stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at this villa! It’s modern, beautifully designed, and comes with top-notch amenities. The pool was the highlight for our kids, who spent every afternoon swimming and playing. The villa is located in a quiet residential area, away from the noise and crowds, yet just 5–20 minutes’ drive to all the main attractions around Chania.
The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped, and we especially appreciated the dark shades and central A/C that made the space feel like true luxury. It was one of the best Airbnbs we’ve stayed at in Greece!
Despina was an amazing host – so helpful, always responsive, and full of great local recommendations. Her warmth and hospitality made our trip even better.
If you’re visiting Crete, this is hands down the best area to stay near Chania and the perfect villa to make it a memorable trip. Highly recommend!

A Slice of Paradise – 10/10 Stay!
From the moment we arrived at the villa in Chania, we knew we were in for something special. The hosts were incredible — warm, welcoming, and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. They provided an abundance of insider knowledge on the local area, from hidden tavernas to the best beaches and must-see spots that you simply wouldn’t find in a guidebook.
And then… the villa itself. Wow. The attention to detail, the comfort, the sheer luxury — everything was perfection. The crown jewel? The pool and hot tub. We spent countless hours soaking in the sun, sipping wine under the stars, and floating in total bliss. It was like living in a dream.
This place redefines what a perfect holiday looks like. Peaceful, picturesque, and thoughtfully designed down to the last detail. We genuinely didn’t want to leave.
10/10 — no question. Already planning our return!

This was a perfect location for a week in Crete. View of the Aegean Sea and the mountains! A GREAT pool and hot tub. Serene…The host and her husband were incredibly lovely and helpful. Gave great recommendations for restaurants in Chania and Rethymno. We slept so soundly and so long each night 10+ hrs!!! Unheard of for us. The blackout shades that are also soundproof (just from roosters in am and the occasional dog bark from neighbors) were great! The home is so modern, serene, and peaceful. We lucked out finding this spot. Only a 10 min drive into Chania and a 55 mins drive to Rethymno. Host recommended the Botanical Gardens, which were amazingly beautiful outdoors and on a mountain side just 28 mins south.
We highly recommend this home if you’re going to have a car. Perfectly located! I’m ros Gorge is only 52 mins away as well. We weren’t able to go bc of weather that day.
